If there isn’t a Charlotte Tilbury counter near you then don’t panic. Buying a foundation online with this company is so easy! The website has pictures of people wearing the foundations so you can match them up with your own skin tone. perfect!
Charlotte Tilbury Foundation is £32 for 40ml and can be bought here. It comes in a plastic squeezable tube that is easy to dispense. It is a light weight, long lasting foundation that contains SPF and hydrates your skin for up to 18 hours.
When choosing a foundation to include in my bridal kit, I look for one that has the components my brides are looking for. I then trial the foundation on myself for a few months (this is what I was doing in my last blog post) to get a feel for it and if I am happy with the results I add it into my kit. I was so in love with light wonder after trialing it, and now so are lots of my wedding clients. Most of my brides book me because my makeup style is natural, classic and flawless, I help brides look like the most polished version of them self and leave their skin looking like skin and not a mask. Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder foundation is perfect for this.
Recently I worked with Katy (above) on a bridal editorial photo shoot and she was kind enough to let me take a before and after image of her. Luckily for me Katy has the most flawless perfect skin, and looks wonderful without any makeup. I used a light coverage of the CT Light Wonder foundation in 2 Fair on her skin to create a dewy and fresh flawless makeup look. I also used the CT flawless filter in 2 light on her cheekbones and the high points of her face.
The photo shoot was a long day which involved changing in and out of lots of bridal dresses, climbing up and down stairs and posing in front of professional lighting. Katy is a dancer so we were lucky to have her dance for some of our images as well. Katy’s makeup stayed in place for the whole day and she did not need any touch ups on her foundation. I love how natural her skin looks in this unedited after picture. This is exactly how all of my brides want their skin to look, natural and still like skin.
Here is a few unedited pictures that I took myself of some of my wedding clients from this October. I love that this foundation suits so many people and just makes their skin look flawless while still looking like real skin. Right now I am loving a dewy fresh glow however you can mattify your skin with more powder if you wish. All of my brides leave me feedback letting me know that their skin was flawless and their coverage lasted all day.
