I hope you are all well and have enjoyed part one of my bridal beauty countdown. If not then click here to read it first! Today I am sharing part two of the bridal beauty countdown, I had a similar post on my old blog years ago, however I have been working on it to make it ever better! My beauty bridal countdown includes hints, tips and advice on how to beautify yourself and ensure you are ready for your big day, so here we go!
6 Months till the Wedding
Having a facial once every 2 – 4 weeks coupled with using your skincare at home can help ensure you have the best skin possible on your wedding day. Facials are super relaxing and leave your skin bright and glowing afterwards. I offer an express and a luxury facial that is completely tailored to suit your skin type. Click here for more information and to book in before your big day.
I know 6 months seems a long time before your wedding to get a brow wax, but it’s more about finding the right brow artist for you and getting your brows perfect in the months running up to your big day. It can take months to grow back brow wax accidents so finding the perfect brow artist is essential.

Hair and Make-up trials
Why not book your hair and make-up trials on the day of your hen night, night out or special occasion? This way you can wear the styles to an event to see if it’s the right look for you and see how long lasting they are.
Have a look on Pinterest and in bridal magazines and take along a few pictures of styles that you like to give your hair stylist and make-up artist ideas and just have fun with it. Take your bridesmaids for trials as well so everyone can have fun and have a bit of pampering!!

Don’t forget to take pictures at your trial so that you can look back on the different looks you tried.
Now is a good time to try out an advanced facial to revitalise your skin. I offer an amazing skin peeling system that is The safest and most advanced exfoliation with immediate visible results. It effectively reduces scarring, pigmentation, blemishes, lines, and wrinkles. It revitalises tired, pale complexions and your makeup sits beautifully on your fresh new skin.
Why not start getting manicures and pedicures every 2-3 weeks to start getting your fingers and toes in tip top condition for your big day? You can go for traditional nail polish or try out some gel polish. On your wedding day your hands will be looked at and photographed more than any other day so it is important to have them looking great. Also it’s great to just have some chill out time and be pampered, wedding planning can be stressful! I love creating beautiful bridal designs like these for brides on their big day.
By this point you should be a pro with your skin care routine so why not add in some specialist skin care products like a facial oil or a facial serum. I am in love with the Janssen Cosmetics Hyaluron Fluid and Epigenetic Serum.
Why not treat yourself and have a luxury manicure and pedicure instead of a regular one to ensure your hands and feet are super soft. Also why not ask your nail tech to try out a bridal nail design to give you some ideas. Here are some of my bridal nail designs.
If you have been going for facials then have your last one now, your skin can slightly redden from a facial so it’s good not to get one the day before. While you are at it why not treat yourself to a relaxing back or full body massage, this will completely relax you and moisturise your skin so you are super smooth for the big day. Keep up your own skincare and do not try any new skincare products in case of a reaction.
Now is the time to get your final brow wax and your body waxing so you are hair free for your honeymoon.
Again get your final manicure and pedicure in the week running up to your wedding, perhaps 2-3 days before. Have your hands and feet smooth and beautiful for the big day and the honeymoon.
Everything should have fallen into place by now, try to relax and don’t stress about what’s to come as all of your planning and hard work will pay off.
Why not get together a bridal beauty SOS kit so that you have everything you could possibly need beauty wise for the big day.

Have a glass of bubbly (but not a bottle – you don’t want to wake up with a hangover) and gossip with your bridesmaids, pop on a chick flick and relax. Make sure you get a good night’s sleep; although it’s tempting to stay up talking all night, tomorrow will be a long and exciting day.
The wedding day
Today is the day!
Don’t forget to eat, have a tasty breakfast and even a light lunch. Make sure that you and your maids wear a robe or a top with buttons or a wide neck so that you don’t smudge your make up and mess up your hair while you are changing.
Sit down, relax, let your bridal stylist do your hair and make-up and enjoy being pampered.
Last but not least enjoy your day, it flies by so quickly so love every minute of it!
I hope you have enjoyed my bridal beauty countdown blog and find it useful in the run up to your big day.
