Finding the perfect lip colour for your wedding can be difficult as there is just so much to choose from. The thousands of colours with all different types and textures can really confuse you, and it is difficult to know what suits you, especially if you are not used to wearing a lipstick. I decided to do this Mac Faux lipstick review so you can see one of my favourites.
Mac Faux lipstick is one of my all-time favourite bridal lip colours; I am on my 5th one as I use it so much on my gorgeous brides. This is the perfect natural lip colour for your wedding day. It is my go to shade when a bride tells me she wants a pink natural lip colour. I find that literally every bride I apply this lipstick to suits it and is perfect for brides who are not used to a strong lip colour but still want a little bit of colour there.
Faux is a satin lipstick which I love as it feels soft and moisturising on your lips, it has a medium to full coverage on your lips, and is a natural pink/mauve colour. It can be bought here and is £16.50.
Lipstick is always the last thing I apply before a bride walks down the aisle. Mac Faux always lasts through the ceremony and drinks reception, meaning it lasts through some kisses and a couple of glasses of bubbly! Brides will have to reapply Mac Faux after the wedding meal, however this would be expected from most lipsticks.
This colour isn’t just perfect for brides, it’s great for every day or even a night out when you want a gorgeous pink-nude lip. Today I teamed up Faux lipstick with gold and brown eyes and natural skin for a perfect day time look.
Here are a few images of my brides wearing Faux lipstick. If you would like to find out how to choose a makeup artist for your big day then have a read of this blog post.
Have you ever tried Faux lipstick before? If so, what did you think? Have you found your perfect wedding lip colour yet? I’d love to know what you thought of my Mac Faux lipstick review. Please let me know in the comments!
